Our Warranty
Every Wooden Decor board is backed by a 2-year limited warranty against manufacturing defects. We build our boards to last a lifetime — and we back that with a guarantee.
What Is Covered
- Structural defects in materials or craftsmanship
- Glue joint separation not caused by improper care
- Excessive warping or cracking under normal use conditions
- Finish defects present at the time of delivery
What Is Not Covered
- Damage caused by dishwasher use (all wooden cutting boards should be hand-washed only)
- Warping or cracking resulting from prolonged soaking or submersion in water
- Damage from improper storage — storing flat on a wet surface, for example
- Natural colour variation, grain patterns, or minor surface marks from normal use
- Damage caused by misuse, accidents, or deliberate modification
- Normal wear and patina that develops with age — this is a feature, not a defect
How To Care For Your Board
Proper care will keep your teak board performing beautifully for decades:
- Hand-wash only — warm water and mild soap, then dry immediately upright.
- Never soak — do not submerge your board or leave it sitting in water.
- Oil regularly — apply food-grade mineral oil or a cutting board conditioner 2–3 times per year, or whenever the surface looks dry.
- Store upright — allow air circulation on both sides to prevent uneven moisture absorption.
Making A Warranty Claim
- Email woodendecorusa@gmail.com with your order number and a clear photo of the issue.
- Our team will review your claim within 2 business days.
- If approved, we will send a replacement board at no cost, or issue a full refund — your choice.
Warranty Period
The warranty period begins on the date of delivery and covers a period of 24 months. Warranty coverage is non-transferable and applies to the original purchaser only.
